Departmental Board

Membership - All staff of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics
This committee meets at least twice each year to discuss all issues relating to teaching, equipment, accommodation, etc.

Staff-Student Consultative Committee (SSCC) (formerly known as the Joint Consultative Committee)

Membership - Students and staff.
One, two or three students are elected to represent each undergraduate and postgraduate level. A member of staff is nominated to represent each level.
This committee meets at least once per semester to discuss any issue related to the courses (modules), equipment, working-conditions, etc.
Students are encouraged to raise any issue of concern. Please contact a student representative

Module Review Committee

Membership - Lecturing staff in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics
This committee meets twice each academic year to review all aspects of all the undergraduate modules. A separate meeting is held for each semester.
Students are encouraged to express their views about any of the modules they have taken. All comments, whether favourable or unfavourable, are welcome and can be submitted by:
- emailing or writing to the Head of Department;
- writing to a student representative.
