A particular focus of CASI this year is on Medical/Health

19th May 2005.
The Stream will be opened by keynote Professor David
Spiegelhalter (MRC Biostatistics Unit, University of Cambridge) who
will talk about
Performance
Monitoring in the NHS.
Keynote Professor Jane Hutton (University
of Warwick) will present 'Statistics,
Politics and Ethics' and
keynote Professor Andy Grieve (Pfizer Global R&D)
will discuss 'Issues
to Consider Before Implementing an Adaptive Bayesian Design in Pharmaceutical
R&D'.
There is also a wide range of excellent contributed papers
from Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Medical Statistics not to mention other
parallel streams if medical delegates wish to puruse other areas. All of
which promises to make the meeting an interesting and stimulating event!
