Current Position: Research fellow. I have a Career Acceleration Fellowship awarded by EPSRC.
Curriculum vitae:
- March 2002: graduated in Theoretical Physics, under the supervision of Prof. G. M. Palma.
  Thesis: Non-local Quantum Computation: a proposal for implementation in a Cavity-Quantum Electrodynamics system.
- April 2002: full-time IRCEP (International Research Centre for Experimental Physics) bursary for post-graduate studies at the Queen's University in Belfast. Supervisor: Prof. M. S. Kim.
- February 2005: graduated as Ph.D. with the thesis Theoretical proposals on efficient schemes for quantum information processing (external examiner: Prof. M. B. Plenio).
- May--March 2008 2005: awarded an Early Career Fellowship by The Leverhulme Trust to research on QIP with bound control on hybrid systems.
- February--July 2006: Research Associate at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information, Universitat Wien (Austria).
- October 2008: awarded a Career Acceleration Fellowship by the UK EPSRC to work on Investigating quantumness in complex systems under adverse conditions to be spent at Queen's University Belfast
